I think you need to get a grip Corporal. If not for citizens like boby you’d be an army without a country, you would be defending a barren strip a land with no reason or purpose. You cannot exist without the average citizen, and not everyone can serve in the military. Not all service is done through military, and there are many ways to contribute to the strength and stability of your nation. Without the men and women who run American business and economics, there would be no funding for a military. Without the men and women in the sciences, there would be no advanced offensive or defensive equipment for military usage. More American lives are lost to heart disease and obesity each week than are lost to any forms of terrorism in a given year. People, I think, are right to question the mans wisdom if he is spending your lives and money in a campaign that will have minimal effect on your safety. The billions spent could easily have been dropped into health care and education. If you can educate people into effects of bad food and say drink driving, you will reduce your death tolls each year as a result. Neither has the glamour of fighting world terrorism, but both would see Americans living longer and reduce death tolls in both areas. And history has shown that terrorists are much like cockroaches, you can never seem to get rid of them, they just move and come back at you again.
